We are a Foundation working in partnership to rebuild lives and communities in Kitgum District, Northern Uganda through education. We believe that every child, including those left out of formal schooling has the right to education.

Just like there is time to conceive and give birth, so is time for a dream to be pursued. For many years, I have always had this big dream. A dream that I will do what I can, to help some children who have no access to formal education get the opportunity to go to school. Friends, families and everybody who care. Today! I am both humble and excited to announce to you the birth of Uganda Kitgum Education Foundation. Today is the beginning of a long journey, a journey that will make you and me a part of rebuilding lives and communities after the aftermath of over 2 decades of civil war. Net als er tijd is om zwanger te worden en te bevallen, is er het tijd om een droom na te streven. Al vele jaren heb ik deze grote droom. Een droom dat ik zal doen wat ik kan, om een aantal kinderen die geen toegang hebben tot formeel onderwijs de kans te geven om naar school te gaan. Vrienden, familie en iedereen die dit een warm hard toedraagt. Vandaag! Ik ben zowel nederig en opgewonden om aan te kondigen aan u de geboorte van Uganda Kitgum Eduction Foundation. Vandaag is het begin van een lange reis, een reis die ervoor zorgt dat jij en ik een deel van de wederopbouw van levens en gemeenschappen in de nasleep van meer dan 2 decennia van burgeroorlog.
